There Rockstar Games blocks the online of its famous games GTA V and Red Dead for a few hours to remember George Floyd, black boy killed by a policeman a few days ago in the United States.
Rockstar Games joins the struggle of the American people calling for justice following the killing of the dark-skinned boy, George Floyd, by a white policeman in the United States. Many companies are taking part in the protest with various initiatives. Rockstar for its part, a few hours ago, announced that the online servers of its famous games GTA V and Red Dead would stop for a few hours to remember that man guilty only of being dark-skinned. The company communicated via a twitter:
“Black Lives Matter. To honor George Floyd’s legacy today, 6/4/20, from 14:00 to 16:00. ET, we will close access to our online games, Grand Theft Auto Online and Red Dead Online.
Black Lives Matter. To honor the legacy of George Floyd, today, 6/4/20, from 2: 00-4: 00 p.m. ET, we will be shutting down access to our online games, Grand Theft Auto Online and Red Dead Online.

Access to online platforms actually stopped for about 2 hours and a few hours ago Rockstar announced that the games had been unlocked but the memory of George Floyd must remain.
