The alleged hacking of MTV's twitter account at 8:08pm...
...would have been more convincing if MTV's marketing manager hadn't tweeted about it at 8:04pm...
It seems the worldwide publicity gained by the hacking of the Burger King Twitter account on Monday was just too tempting for MTV. If only they had synchronised their watches.
However, can we all just agree right now that faking a Twitter hack as a marketing stunt will get very boring, very quickly.
